Developing and validating a multidisciplinary scale of E-retailing website elements

The purpose of this article is to theoretically identify the salient elements e-retailing websites and empirically verify them through a rigorous scale development process. A mixed method approach was followed achieve these objectives: qualitative (content analysis) quantitative (factorial confirmatory surveys). Three findings emerge from current study. First: study provides sound empirical support for website as high-order construct that consists eight first-order factors. Second, research suggests measurement instrument elements, which contains 54 items, valid reliable using following factors: hedonic design technical experiential relational product-related order-related security-related social media presence.
